Stardate/Date...

Hi there,

Anyone wanting to take a pot-shot at recreating the date/stardate widget that SMS used to have under the login section of SMS? I noticed that while you can set a stardate in the Nova settings along with the SIM type and name but, the SIM year doesn't show anywhere on site?

I got this to work, but it currently doesn't work for TOS era. I'll see about getting it refined and distributed to those that want it.

Sorry to hijack a thread; but would it be possible to show the "simming date?" My simm is set exactly +377 years from today; so it's now May 12 2388 (depending on timezone, it might be May 11) but yeah;

If you look at the post you'll see that using the Enterprise-era stardate will give you the format you're looking for.

I think it would be more similar to the UCIP one which for them the stardate is +400 years into the future. In that regard, they'd just set the config option to UCIP (which I should probably rename to 'other'), set the sim year in the preferences and they'd be set.
