[Help-Not Urgent] Display Site Name

Nova includes a new and robust way of skinning the entire system without ever touching the core of the application. If you have questions about how to build a theme for Nova, how to modify a theme or you just want to show off your work, this is the place to do it!

[Help-Not Urgent] Display Site Name

Good Day,

Some skins display a site's name in the header area of the skin. I believe this is done in the various skin templates - main, admin, etc.

I would like to add this to my default skin, Serenity by Matt Williams. I have tried comparing the template_main.php to another skin's template that pulls the site's name. No luck! I just don't know enough about coding to figure this out.

I also might be in the wrong place entirely although I seem to remember taking the site name out of the template.php files at an old game.

Thanks for any and all help!

Re: [Resolved] Display Site Name

I didn't find out how to make the site name to appear in the header, but found out how to make a logo work.

Try adding this:

Code: Select all
<?php echo text_output($this->options['sim_name']);?>
