Hello
I am a newbie here and want to know is there a way to only get ONLY the new files for the 1.0.1 update or do I have to download the entire thing and pick out the individual files?

We do not provide only changed files. Starting with Nova 2 though, you can simply delete the nova folder and replace it with the version from the zip file.
