[MOD] Nova2 Awards in Bio Pages

I had this modification for Nova1, and it was time to move it (and tweak!) for Nova2.

This allows you to add all character awards next to the character details in the bio page. It also pops up a popover with the reason for the award, and links to the award details.

I just added support for the "Narrow Crew Bio Page" that Anodyne Xtras supplies. You can choose to use either the regular view or the narrow view (just rename the "-narrow.php" file to the original and upload).

Follow the README, it's all there

Yup, you can do that or add a class to the images (I think there's a class for small award images).

If it works, though, use that.

Will this mod work with all your other mods without anything screwing up as in I currently have the selected colours for the edit characters and the manifest details mods

I finally understood that you were talking about a CSS class ... so I took my before mentioned change out and changed the CSS class info using the following in structure.css around line 343

     display: inline-block;
     max-width: 85px;
}

I have a really small award that doesn't need to be changed in size so that is why I used max-width.

I know this isn't big stuff to those who code... learning in progress ...

Mooey, not sure if you missed my message about the awards mod, additionally would all your mods still work fine if I updated to Nova 2.0.3 as I dont wanna update to find the mods no longer work :p

Hey Timor,

The mod works with the other mods, just be careful when you're editing the controllers and make sure you copy/paste the functions into the controller file (and not just upload it!)

Also, yes, my mods would work on 2.0.3. You'll be updating the nova/ folder which doesn't touch the application/ folder where mods are located. I just upgraded yesterday, and so far met no problems.

If there *are* problems, please let me know asap so I can fix them ,but I don't anticipate anything major.

I found one. I installed it, worked good for the awards. But the character pictures were no longer clickable. I uninstalled the mod and the character images worked again. Is it something I'm doing, or something that can be fixed?

That's really weird, it doesn't touch the pictures. The only thing I can think of is the javascript portion. Can you makes sure you added that correctly?

Copy/paste the code you have?

I added everything like you said to. I added the javascript files just where you said to.

Try to add everything *other* than the js code (I think it's a 1 or 2 lines in the _js line, comment it out or delete it).

Can you tell me if it works without it? Might be conflicting code.

Found the problem. It was a simple fix. lol. My comp saved the file path on my computer instead of the one it needed to. That's why it goofed.
